poemsandmorepoems:
Poetry that does not rhyme is simply quite absurd
It cannot hold a candle to the metered rhyming word
To find the words and syllables to make the verses flow
Is often times a daunting task, as rhyming poets know
When the perfect words appear there’s not a sound that’s sweeter
LOL… mean! but funny

oldsoulnewworld:
Once on a yellow peice of paper with green lines
he wrote a poem
and he called it “chops”
because that was the name of his dog
and thats what it was all about
his teacher gave him an A
and a gold star
and his mother hung it on the kitchen door
and read it to his aunts.
that was the year Father…
wow.

impurifyingreality:
Calm the chaos.
Take a step towards
My rushing thoughts.
Silence screams louder
Than any words
You throw at me.
Without you
I’m empty.
It’s as plain as that.
And that unsettling,
Charming sort of fact
Pushes against the
Frontal lobe of my existence.
Personality being hindered
From the screaming,
High pitch noises
That appear when I’m alone;
The ones making me wonder
Exactly what I’m doing
Here alone.
Here without you.
